We are seeking a qualified Grant Evaluator to review and assess the outcomes of a grant-funded project. The evaluator will help provide a clear picture of the project’s successes and challenges, identify lessons learned, and make practical recommendations for improvement.

Purpose of the Evaluation

The purpose of this evaluation is to document what worked well, what did not work as expected, and what improvements should be considered for future planning, implementation, and reporting. The final evaluation should offer an objective, useful summary that can guide decision-making and strengthen future grant activities.

Scope of Work

·        Review grant goals, objectives, activities, reports, and available project data.

·        Gather input from key staff, partners, participants, or stakeholders as appropriate.

·        Identify major successes, strengths, challenges, gaps, and lessons learned.

·        Assess progress toward intended outcomes and deliverables.

·        Prepare clear findings and recommendations for improvement.

·        Present evaluation results in a concise written report.

Expected Deliverables

·        Evaluation plan or brief work plan outlining approach and timeline.

·        Data collection tools or interview/survey questions, if needed.

·        Draft evaluation report for review.

·        Final evaluation report that includes successes, failures or challenges, findings, and recommendations for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience evaluating grants, programs, projects, or community-based initiatives.

·        Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.

·        Strong writing, analysis, and communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

·        Experience preparing evaluation reports for funders, boards, agencies, or community partners preferred.
